Tomorrow: Who's the best battery technician in Colorado?
Club Assist Battery Service Skills Challenge will test the mettle of Colorado's top battery technicians.
If your car has a battery issue, rest easy: AAA Colorado works with the best battery technicians in the state. How can we say that for certain? That's easy: Our drivers are so talented at battery work, they're eager to compete for the chance to be crowned the best battery tech in the nation.
That's just what they'll do during tomorrow's Club Assist Battery Service Skills Challenge at AAA Colorado, where battery technicians from across the state will go head to head in a hands-on, emergency roadside service simulation. A panel of expert judges will evaluate each technician on their technical aptitude and customer service. The first place winner will win an all-expense-paid trip to compete at the national competition in Washington, D.C. in early October.

About BSSC
The BSSC is the only competition in North America to test the skill level of Emergency Roadside Technicians. It is open to all AAA/CAA Mobile Battery Service Technicians. The competition hosts three competitive phases: Qualifiers, Regional competitions, and the championship competition.
Regional BSSC winners advance to the championship competition where three judges evaluate the competitors’ technical skills and customer service skills. Scoring is determined by a series of performance benchmarks. Judges consist of AAA and Club Assist staff to ensure a fair competition. The technician with the highest combined score from each judge will be declared the winner.
