I love to travel! I remember one trip, while hiking the Inca trail to Machu Picchu, I was tired, and my legs felt weak. But on our last day of trekking, we were awakened at 4 a.m. to pack up our things and start our journey. I had seen Machu Picchu before, in pictures, but nothing could prepare me for arriving to the Sun Gate, and witnessing the ancient ruins below. I had done it. I made it. I pushed myself mentally, physically, and very far out of my comfort zone. It was all worth it. I will always remember this experience, and be proud of what I accomplished!

As we glided peacefully down the Danube River through the lovely Bavarian countryside with Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, I remember what a friendly, intimate, and relaxed way this was to see central Europe up close! We passed quaint towns and historic castles, and enjoyed great company, delicious food, and amazing service. I loved exploring the Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria this way. I saw amazing sights, had wonderful new experiences, and felt I’d acquired a new family in the wonderful crew of the River Princess!
