Day to remember
Tom Beachman of Cedaredge photographed his wife, Sue, last October along the Little Robinson Trail, south of Coal Creek Road in the Kebler Pass drainage of the West Elk Wilderness. “The trail is a family favorite, and the light made it dreamy, a day to remember,” Tom told EnCompass. “Her pose reminded me of the Andrew Wyeth painting Christina’s World.” His camera: Canon PowerShot ELPH.

Window of opportunity
Susan Hills of Fort Collins photographed these spectacular fall colors while toward Bierstadt Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. “I was immersed in a world of burnt orange, lime green, and lemon-colored leaves, when I noticed this “window” out toward the mountains and the rest of the Park,” Susan tells EnCompass. “It definitely took my mind off the steady uphill climb and reminded me what a fantastic state we live in.” Her camera: Canon EOS T6S.
