With more Coloradans getting vaccinated, summer travel is looking to rebound—and in a big way. It seems the more people I talk to, the more I discover people have plans to hop in their cars to rediscover America. If that sounds like you, I hope you have a great adventure. While you’re out on the road, make sure you take advantage of all the discounts available to you as a AAA Colorado member.
Hertz rental cars
Instead of racking up all those miles on your car this summer, consider renting a vehicle from Hertz. The great service you’re used to getting at the airport is also conveniently located near you at plenty of neighborhood locations. Whether you need a car for a day, a month, or longer, you’ll enjoy great rates, and all the AAA member benefits renting from your Hertz Local Edition. Get your car ready
Before heading out on your road trip, be sure your car is ready. Stop by your local AAA Approved Auto Repair facility and save 10 percent (up to $50) on labor.
If you’re more the DIYer, visit your local NAPA store and save 10 percent on parts and accessories.

Dining out
One of my favorite things to do on vacation is eating out. AAA members can save 10 percent (or more) on food at Hard Rock Cafe, Simms Steak House, Saltgrass Steak House, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Aquarium Restaurants, and many more. Stay and save
Probably the most popular discount AAA members use is at the tens of thousands of hotels across the country. Members can save 5 percent or more at Best Western Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Marriott Hotels, and many more. Of course, the best part of any vacation is the fun experiences we have. Well guess what? You can save on these as well.
