Find Your Way: Not yet semi-normal

Ken Bolser

Around this time last year, we told you about many exciting changes in the cruise industry, and  why more Coloradans were cruising than ever. Obviously, that’s not the world we live in today, but I choose to be an optimist. As Coloradans, as Americans, and as people, we’re resilient. We have adapted to many aspects of this crisis, and I am certain we will adapt to what comes next.

The initial COVID-19 vaccine looks promising, and a “semi-normal” world may well be on the horizon—although we’re not there yet. For now, AAA is here to help you make the most of the current “normal,” as we look ahead and make eventual plans for whatever comes. Here’s how:

Keeping your finances safe for future plans

Many of you have told me that the first thing you’ll do when this is behind us is hop on an airplane for some international leisure travel, and many more of you have already started working with our experts to make plans for late-2021, 2022, and beyond. It’s going to feel great to travel again, which is why you want to make sure nothing happens to the money you’re setting aside for your next great trip.

As a AAA member benefit, we’re proud to offer you free enrollment in ProtectMyID Essential, which includes identity theft and credit monitoring, lost wallet protection, fraud resolution support, and more. Here in Colorado, just last month, thousands of fraudulent unemployment claims were filed in other people’s names—so we all could use a little added protection. Visit AAA.com/IDTheft to learn more.

Refi refresher

Continuing my choice to find the good in our world today, homeowners have been enjoying historically low interest rates as they look to refinance their homes. So if you’ve been thinking about refinancing, this may be a good time. Our team at AAA Mortgage will give you the same friendly, personalized member experience you expect at AAA. In this edition of EnCompass, AAA Banking CEO & President Anne Arvia explains when a refi makes sense, when it doesn’t, and how you can find the best option for your budget, your home, and your lifestyle.

Your local connection

This crisis has driven home the importance of looking after each other, especially in our close communities. Serving our neighbors is why we do what we do. When you call for an emergency roadside rescue, your call will be handled by someone right here in Colorado, and we’ll dispatch technicians who live and work in your communities. Likewise, our award-winning home and auto insurance agents have always served the neighborhoods they know. We’ve got teams of Coloradans working to meet your mortgage, auto loan, and life insurance needs, and more. Coverage that knows you and your community. That’s coverage that loves you back—not to mention a little peace of mind as we wait patiently for the future to hurry up and get here.
