Find Your Way: Good news, great news

Ken Bolser

I’ve got some good news and lots of great news for you. The good news is that 2020, a year like no other, is now firmly in our rearview mirror. While there are still challenges ahead, the great news is we’re committed to making your AAA membership worth even more in 2021. You’re going to like what you see, including right here in the pages of EnCompass.

Empowering you financially

Our personal finances can change in the blink of an eye. That’s why we’ve introduced a new column from AAA Banking CEO & President Anne Arvia, a financial expert with more than 30 years at leading financial institutions across the country. Anne will highlight our new suite of financial service products for you to make the most of an ever-changing economy, including identity theft monitoring from ProtectMyID—free for AAA members, and our new home and auto loan products. The great news is we now have a dedicated banking services staff right here in Colorado to serve you.

Meeting our members

With more than 60 million members across North America and more than 700,000 right here in Colorado, you’re in good company. Some you may recognize, like Trista Sutter, a AAA Colorado member since 2002, most famous for her appearances on two very popular reality shows. Others, such as Corey Stevens, are Coloradans just like you and me, with stories about what AAA has meant to them, and tips to maximize your own membership. At AAA, we put people, and their great news, first—including here in our magazine.

Dreaming about travel

Throughout the pandemic, we’ve heard from countless members who have told us what they miss most is travel. We miss it, too. The good news is destinations around the globe are beginning to reopen to travelers from the U.S. It’s true traveling right now takes extra work and significant precautions, including monitoring local travel restrictions and requirements, and even getting tested before, during, and after your trip. When you work with one of our trusted travel advisers, we handle that for you, so you can focus on safely enjoying your trip. Many people aren’t comfortable traveling, yet, and that’s OK. The great news is AAA is positioned better than nearly every other travel agency to weather this storm, and we stand ready to help you find significant, exclusive savings on trips booked for 2021, 2022, and beyond.

Investing in our communities

Finally, some great news from 2020: AAA Colorado was named, once again, to The Civic 50 Colorado—establishing our club, for the second year in a row, as one of Colorado’s most community-minded organizations. As we look ahead to 2021, we’re committed to expanding our award-winning advocacy team, increasing our investments to community partners, and creating more opportunities for employee volunteerism.

In all that we do, we hope we’ll make you proud to be a member.
